How to help

Helping the BSFA and your child's school is easy.

  • If you would like to become a trustee and join our team, please get in touch.
  • If you would like to help at the odd event, but not come along to meetings, no problem! Get in touch via bsfa@bleasby.sch.notts.uk to be put on the mailing list. When a new event comes up. you will be asked if you'd like to be involved. Reply with a simple yes or no. Yes, great, you will be added to a sub-team that only discusses the event and assigns roles etc. No, that's fine, you won't be contacted again until the next event.
  • If you want to help but can't commit to events, can you share your ideas, make posters, make a cake, bring along some bought biscuits, donate some prizes, provide services that can help? If you want but aren't sure how, get in touch at bsfa@bleasby.notts.sch.uk

easyfundraising is an online shopping website and app that claims cashback from your purchases and a percentage is donated to the BSFA fundraising page. In the past this has been a great fundraising tool that has raised thousands for the school. You can claim money on all sorts of purchases, from your supermarket shop, school uniform purchases, utilities and even flights or holidays! Please see the information and links below for further details. Happy shopping!

'easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into donations for your good cause, at no cost to you. How? Just visit your favourite retailers through our website and the shop as normal. Once you’ve made a purchase the retailer will then make a small donation to your cause to say “thank you”... No catch. Whatever you buy costs exactly the same as it would if you had visited the retailer site directly. We don’t take any financial information from you as all your transactions are with the retailer. We won’t sell your information on and we won’t spam you. And it doesn’t cost you or your cause anything.'  (https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/blog/how-does-easyfundraising-work-a-guide-for-shoppers/)

Amazon Smile

"AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. The difference is that when customers shop through the URL smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

In order to browse or shop through AmazonSmile, customers must first select a charitable organisation. Once they have chosen their charity they can shop the site as they normally would. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of the customer’s eligible purchases. Only purchases made through smile.amazon.co.uk are eligible to generate donations."  (https://org.amazon.co.uk/npo/portal/help)
